- 3 cloves garlic
- 5 cloves shallots
- 6 red chili peppers (jalapeno or serano - you can reduce or add more if you like spicy food)
- 3 birds eye chili peppers (optional)
- For the complement:
- 2 sunny side up eggs 🍳
- Indonesian prawn crispy crackers
- Some cucumber and tomato
Instructions to make to make Nasi Goreng Jawa (Javanese Fried Rice)
- Heat the oil in the wok over medium-heat. Sauté the ground spices until fragrant.
- Add ‘terasi’ (shrimp paste). Mix well.
